The International Justice Foundation for Judicial and Diplomatic Studies

Establishment of the Institution: The International Justice Foundation for Judicial and Diplomatic Studies was established in 2014 as a specialized institution aimed at contributing to the advancement of legal and administrative development in the Arab countries, serving the causes of comprehensive development. In pursuit of this mission, the Foundation directs its efforts and offers its services and programs to the governments of the Arab member countries, which number 22, with its services also extending to business organizations and the private sector.

Overview: The Foundation seeks to solidify its position as a leading center for educating and training specialists, legal professionals, and diplomats, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance their academic and professional levels and strengthen their participation on the international stage. This is done through a commitment to quality and excellence. The Foundation aims to build a new generation of arbitrators, legal professionals, and specialists who are capable of facing global challenges and contributing effectively to the development of the law and arbitration industries worldwide.

The Foundation offers specialized educational and training programs, which include international fellowship certificates, professional diplomas in various fields and specialties, as well as training courses and workshops. These programs are implemented in collaboration with prominent international partners in the fields of law and international commercial arbitration, aiming to elevate the skills of legal professionals and arbitrators in the Gulf region and enhance the standing of lawyers and arbitrators in international arenas.

This role involves the Foundation providing opportunities for exchanging experiences between institutions concerned with legal and administrative development in Arab countries, as well as coordinating joint efforts among them to enhance the system of law, arbitration, and administration in the Arab world.

Role of the Arab Expertise House

This role involves the Foundation providing training services, events, intellectual production, scientific publishing, consultations, and awards with the aim of increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the performance of Arab legal and administrative institutions.

The Scientific Body

The institution’s scientific body comprises an elite group of law professors, deans, and heads of law faculties at Arab and international universities.

Additionally, the institution includes a distinguished group of international lawyers, arbitrators, and experts in drafting international contracts, as well as members of international arbitration and dispute resolution centers, such as the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS/CAS).

The institution also hosts a select group of specialists with extensive scientific, practical, and professional expertise across various branches and fields of legal work (criminal, civil, commercial, private, international, sports, and public law).

The institution aims to provide participants with the necessary expertise to ensure they achieve the highest possible level of benefit.

Strategic Partnerships

The institution strives to build bridges of cooperation and communication with universities and educational entities across the Arab world, as well as with both the public and private sectors, including law firms and consultancy companies. This aims to coordinate and collaborate on developing and delivering diverse legal programs that contribute to qualifying and advancing human resources for legal and diplomatic work.

Since its establishment, the institution has successfully signed numerous cooperation agreements and strategic partnerships with various entities. It has organized numerous scientific conferences, training programs, and practical workshops in Egypt and across the Arab world, attracting participants from multiple nationalities.
